Cityfiretraining were pleased to assist Swallow EMP, providers of evacuation chairs suppliers, in providing an evacuation chair solution for Lincoln University. The university has selected the Supertrac evacuation chair as a means of evacuating disabled persons in wheelchairs from their campus buildings.


Cityfiretraining is pleased to support Swallow EMP by providing evacuation chair training for the Fresenius Dialysis Group. The Fresenius Group elected to use CD7 evacuation chairs to evacuate disabled dialysis users.

Evacuation chairs should be used as part of a disabled evacuation strategy. We recommend that organisations purchasing disabled evacuation chairs seek expert advice and follow government guidance for disabled evacuation procedures. We also recommend the Fire Service Safety Partnership course Fire Safety and the Provision of Emergency Facilities for Disabled Persons.
